# Profiles

See which types of institution your Ruler account covers.

**Profiles** shows the profiles associated with your Ruler account. A profile is a type of financial institution, such as a financial service provider, a mortgage provider or an investment firm, and corresponds to a licence your organisation holds.

The page shows each profile as a column, and the themes of the Legal Framework as rows, with a tick where a theme applies to a profile. Expand a theme to see its topics.

This page is read-only: you cannot add or change profiles here. To decide which departments see which profiles, use [Departments](/administration/departments.md).
