# Consultations

Consultations your institution can respond to, with the documents you need to do so.

Regulators and legislators regularly consult the market before they finalise a rule. The **Consultations** page under Legal Framework lists the consultations in which your institution can participate.

Each row shows the consultation's name, its **source** (the regulator or body running it, such as AFM, DNB, ESMA, EBA or FATF), its **start** and **end** dates, and the profiles it applies to.

## Finding a consultation

* Use the search bar to search by name or source.
* Use the dropdown to show **active** consultations, **inactive** ones, or all of them.

## Using a consultation

Click a consultation to see its details and the documents attached to it, typically the consultation paper and any explanatory notes. You can use these to prepare a response, or simply to understand what changes are being considered before they reach the Radar or the Inbox.
