# The Legal Framework for other laws

How the Legal Framework is built for the other laws profiles, and how it differs from the financial one.

Like the financial Legal Framework, the framework for the other laws profiles consists of themes and topics. The way they are built is different, though, and worth knowing before you start linking items.

## Themes follow laws

Each theme is created on the basis of one specific law. For example, the theme *Work and income* is based on the Work and Income (Capacity for Work) Act (WIA). Open **Legal Framework** and **Themes** while an other laws profile is selected to see them.

## Topics follow the law's structure

Where possible, the topics within a theme follow the structure of the law itself. In the *Work and income* theme, the topics follow the chapters of the WIA. This makes it easy to find the right topic when a news item refers to a specific part of a law.

## The topic page

A topic page for other laws has the same layout and actions as a financial topic page: the summary, **Do not assess**, **Create task** and **Info**. Two things are specific:

* On the left, **Inbox items** lists the news items your organisation has linked to this topic itself.
* On the right, the linked articles of the law.

Everything else on the page works as described in [The topic page](/legal-framework/topic-page.md).
