# Tasks

Tasks turn findings into assigned, dated work, and can be created from almost any page in Ruler.

Tasks are how work gets assigned and tracked in Ruler. You can define tasks, assign responsibility for them and follow their progress, so it is always clear what needs to be done and by when.
